[OC] Coloring — Description
Some steps on how I color. I do most details using vectors (Photoshop Vector Mask), but the shading is done by brush.
1. pencil sketch
2. lineart using PS vectors
3. base color and shading for hair, eyes, and skin
4. "level 1" shadows
5. Eye shine and face shading
6. "level 2" and "3" shadows - final
Used 26 layers. Lots of layers for fallback in case I decide something needs to be removed. For extra shading I use Burn Tool (midtones).

As I am still learning, perhaps my style will change in the future. When that happens, seeing this upload again will tell me how far I've gone.
